Today’s lesson from The Alchemist – Gingersnaps

Hi – I’m Amanda’s older sister, Jennifer, and she’s asked me to add my two-cents to this site.  I’m all about transformation – and enjoying good food.

Today I’m sharing a link to an excellent recipe – alas, there are no freshly grown vegetables here.  But it’s well worth the experience.

I just cooked this recipe for Thick, Chewy Gingersnaps, from the Kiddio blogger (lots of great ideas, including for toddler/preschool boys – whoo hoo!).

Gingersnaps/Molasses Spices cookies (soft and chewy) are my favorite, and this is great version (I think it’s the extra kick from the cayenne).  You can see what mine looked like, while they lasted, here.
